The Family History in Hood County is located at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Ross Lane behind Briarwood Addition. The Church can be reached by turning onto Ross Lane from Paluxy Highway next to the City's Knox Ranch water storage tank.
Through the center's computers, microfilm readers and microfiche , there is access to extensive genealogical catalogues such as the Personal Ancestral File (PAF), the Church of Latter Day Saint's International Genealogical Index (IGI), The Family History Library Catalogue. Arrangements may be made for loan of many other documents residing in the Library at Salt Lake City.
