JAMES MONROE TAYLOR

James Monroe Taylor was a veteran of the Civil War and was wounded at the battle of Shiloh. He was badly crippled for the rest of his life.

He was born in Alabama on January 18, 1830 and died in Hood County, Texas on November 2, 1891. He was buried in Rock Church Cemetery (also known as Marvin's Chapel Cemetery).

He was married to Cornelia Ware who was also buried in Marvin's Chapel Cemetery.
