Buckman competing in Junior Olympics

Granbury's Alex Buckman will compete in the Amateur Athletic Union Junior Olympics in Norfolk, Va. next week. She will long jump Monday and triple jump Wednesday. This is her first trip to the AAU nationals.

Tolar head football coach/athletic director Mike Franklin said the new field house is expected to be completed by Aug. 3. Rattlers open workouts Aug. 2

The Tolar Rattlers will begin two-a-day football practices Monday. They will don pads for the first time on Friday, Aug. 6. Tolar's first scrimmage is Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. in Comanche, followed by a home scrimmage against Dublin at 6 p.m. on Aug. 19. The Rattlers open the season More...
