The Eagles' Taylor Franco had the game's only score on a 7-yard run, and Crowley (3-3 overall, 2-1 in District 8-4A) later added a safety when Granbury was penalized for intentional grounding in the end zone. Granbury (0-6, 0-3) lost for a 22nd straight time and for a fifth consecutive homecoming.
