Williams back at state

Tolar's Caleb Williams qualified for state for a third consecutive season Saturday, finishing fourth in the Class A Region II Meet at Arlington's Vandergriff Park. He ran the 3.1-mile course in 17 minutes, 23 seconds. State is next Saturday in Georgetown. Williams finished sixth at state last season.
Top three teams and top 10 individuals from each region advance to state
Class A Region II in Arlington
Tolar girls finish sixth, Tolar boys eighth. Lady Rattlers Rachel Williams and Adrianna Duncan were 12th and 13th, respectively.
Class A Region III in Humble
Lipan boys finish sixth, Lady Indians 11th.
Class 4A Region I in Lubbock
Granbury's Kyler Gee (girls) was 63rd, and Geordan Strain (boys) was 131st.
