Motorcycle accident claims life of Weatherford man

A 61-year-old Weatherford man was pronounced dead at the scene Friday afternoon by justice of the peace Danny Tuggle after the northbound 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle the man was riding on Tin Top Highway northwest of Granbury apparently failed to make a curve, according to DPS trooper Mark McNiel. The man's motorcycle crashed after going into a bar ditch, then came to rest in a culvert, McNiel said. The man's name could not be released because next-of-kin had not been notified.
