Deputy injured in two-vehicle accident (Posted 7/28/2010 11:27 am) Sergeant Michelle Berry, a deputy with the Hood County Sheriff's Office, was taken by air ambulance to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth after being injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 4 and Highway 281, five miles west of Lipan, in Palo Pinto County. Berry was treated for "bumps and bruises" and released, according to chief deputy George Temple. The driver of the other vehicle, a Stephenville woman, was taken by ground ambulance to a hospital in Erath County for treatment of a broken collar bone and a broken wrist.
