Hood County man sentenced to 10 years in prison on burglary charge

Patrick Scott Devenny, 21, of Indian Harbor, was sentenced to 10 years in prison last week by a Hood County jury for burglary of a habitation, according to district attorney Rob Christian said. Devenny and his partner, whose trial is pending, both confessed to a pair of June 2009 burglaries. Christian said that during the punishment phast, the jury learned that Devenny was on probation for three counts of injury to a child.
