Arson suspect now facing three felony charges

Kelly Otis Petty, 54, of Blackfoot Court in Comanche Harbor south of Granbury -- the arson suspect in the fire that destroyed the home where he formerly lived with his girlfriend -- is now facing one first-degree felony charge and two third-degree felonies, according to fire marshal Brian Fine. He was arrested on July 22 after a 16-hour standoff with deputies and other law officers at Kelly's Auto Repair on Contrary Creek Road.
