Soccer coach resigns

Granbury High School boys soccer head coach Drew Womble has resigned to be close to his aging parents in North Carolina. "His dad owns a tobacco farm, and right now Drew is in the midst of harvesting tobacco," Granbury athletic director Dwight Butler said. Womble also will coach soccer in North Carolina, Butler said. The new Granbury coach may be announced in early August, Butler said.
