Small airplane goes down; West Pearl shut down

Posted

A small airplane downed for unknown reasons on West Pearl Street not far from Granbury High School and the Granbury Regional Airport has caused West Pearl to be shut down between the intersection with U.S. Highway 377 and Pirate Drive, Granbury Police Department Lt. Russell Grizzard told the Hood County News via email shortly after 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 18. Grizzard noted that the plane was “leaking fuel,” and added, “Any injuries appear to be minor. Traffic coming off of Howard Clemmons Drive is being directed eastbound on Pearl.” Grizzard said it is not yet known why the plane went down.
