Jay Wagner is pictured with his catch that won the “big bass” award (7 pounds, 1 ounce) during the Granbury Bass Club’s March tournament, held at Lake Whitney. Terry Metheny won first place overall with five fish weighing 14 pounds, 10 ounces. Second place was Shane Timm with five totaling 13 pounds, 15 ounces. Travis Bullard took third with five weighing 12 pounds, 11 ounces. Travis Bullard and John Jones took the team pot with a total weight of 22 pounds, 2 ounces. The club meets at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month at Spring Creek Barbecue in Granbury.
