The Granbury ISD Board of Trustees took on the subject of school vouchers during its regular meeting Oct. 16. Following much discussion, the board approved a resolution distributed by the Texas Association of School Boards by a vote of 5-2, with Trustees Melanie Graft and Karen Lowery voting in opposition.

The Granbury ISD School Board has placed on the November ballot two separate propositions; a $151 million dollar bond election and a Voter Approved Tax Rate Election (VATRE).
