Prissy is the winner of the Hood County News' Christmas Critters photo contest. Prissy is a Toy Australian Shepherd, and her human “mom” is Cindy Dennis. Dennis is best known in Hood County as “The Pickle Lady” having won 56 ribbons at the State Fair of Texas and was featured in The Texas Hill County Reporter as well as the Hood County News.
The Granbury Jam has been a beloved event in Hood County for more than five years. Beginning in February, the event will take place at Celebration Hall. Music aficionados as well as musicians and vocalists enjoy the casual event with a format they have come to expect.
