‘Brandanas’ give-away part of city, Visit Granbury mask campaign
Teams from the city and Visit Granbury will hand out free “brandanas” Friday and Saturday as part of the “#IWearAMaskBecause...” campaign.
The giveaways will be at the Lake Granbury Conference Center drive-thru Porte co-chere from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, or until supplies run out.
There will be a limit of two masks per person.
The LGCC is at 621 E. Pearl St.
The campaign, created by City Manager Chris Coffman and Visit Granbury Director Tammy Dooley, encourages neighborly love by wearing masks to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Brandanas are meant to be worn around the neck and can be pulled up to cover the mouth and nose.
The brandanas were purchased with funds from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
