Food collection for Mission Granbury and United Way of Hood County
During this time of precautions for COVID-19, you can help those who are unable to obtain food items. More than 900 meals were provided last week through Mission Granbury and the United Way of Hood County. Donations of protein food items are especially needed. Drop off food items at the home of Bob and Julia Pannell at 403 W. Bridge, at the corner of Bridge and Thrash. Items can be left on the covered patio next to the large parking area in back. No contact is needed. Volunteers will pick up the food and deliver to Mission Granbury. Items needed include Vienna sausages, ravioli and spaghetti and sauce, canned tuna or chicken, beans, rice, snacks like crackers and cheese, and fruit cups.
