Oath Keepers meeting cancelled

The anti-government Oath Keepers group will not be meeting at Harbor Lakes Golf Club after all. The meeting scheduled for Monday evening has been cancelled. Harbor Lakes released the following statements: "Harbor Lakes Golf Club is a privately owned club, throughout the year many private events are held at the facility due to its central location. Many community residents host private events, such as weddings, rotary, Home Builders Association meetings, business seminars, and Chamber Events at Harbor Lakes. With the political season upon us, many local candidates have hosted their events at Harbor Lakes to introduce themselves to the constituents of Hood County. Harbor Lakes does not support nor favor any of these candidates or political agendas, we simply provide a facility for events to take place. An event was booked that was misrepresented in the planning, this events agenda was unbeknownst to Harbor Lakes, and for this reason will not be taking place at our facility."
