Only essential businesses should be open in Hood County

Tuesday, March 24, 2020

Non-essential businesses in Hood County must be closed per disaster declaration orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic, reminds Hood County Emergency Management Coordinator Jay Webster. This includes nail salons, salons, barbershops and waxing establishments. Restaurants must adhere to the following: In-house dining is prohibited. Restaurants, liquor stores, microbreweries, microdistilleries and wineries may only provide take-out, delivery, drive-in or drive-through services. There is no setting up of tables in the parking lot because that is considered a gathering, which is prohibited per the order.
