P&Z, council discuss streamlining measures

Friday, May 24, 2019

At the request of the Granbury City Council, the Planning and Zoning Commission has agreed to work with city staff to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the P&Z having final approval on all plats. Currently the P&Z makes recommendations but the council has final approval. It was noted at Tuesday night's regular council meeting that such a move could help streamline council agendas, which are getting longer as the city grows, and would also be helpful to developers.
