School scheduled to start in Premier High School's new building

Wednesday, September 16, 2020

Granbury Premier High School faculty and staff moved into their new building, the first newly constructed building for a Premier High School, and students are scheduled to return to school on September 28th.

The charter school's corporate office at ResponsiveEd solutions in Lewisville chose Granbury for the new building out of 35 potential sites, according to Granbury Premier High School Campus Director Marsha Grisson.

"Granbury was chosen for several reasons," Grisson said in an email. "Our Premier HS has a strong graduation rate since beginning in February 2010. We offer a TEA accredited option for high school students in the Granbury area.  Bottom line, Granbury is an ideal community for building a new school and supporting young people to earn their high school diplomas."

The High School had to relocate after their lease with StoneWater Church was not renewed due to their remodeling project.
