Hood County Crime Stoppers and the Hood County Sheriff’s Office need help solving a burglary of a building and theft of a firearm. On Feb. 25, 2019 someone broke into a storage shed and a vehicle in the 1900 block of Topeka Court in Stroud Creek Estates northwest of Granbury. The person or persons involved stole and damaged the following items: ■ AR-15 rifle, unknown make, model or serial number valued at approximately $1,500. ■ Husqvarna weed trimmer, unknown model or serial number valued at approximately $100. ■ Stihl weed trimmer with bicycle handles, unknown model or serial number valued at approximately $300. ■ Makita steel chop saw, unknown model or serial number valued at approximately $250. ■ Bottle of argon gas for a MIG welder, unknown model or serial number valued at approximately $300. ■ Wheelbarrow air compressor, unknown make, model or serial number valued at approximately $500. ■ Honda pressure washer with blue wand, unknown model or serial number valued at approximately $2,000. ■ Two Stihl 12-foot polesaws, unknown model or serial number valued at approximately $500 each. ■ Two “261” Stihl chainsaws, unknown serial number valued at approximately $300 each ■ One “661” Stihl chainsaw, unknown serial number valued at approximately $1,800. ■ Two “361” Stihl chainsaws, unknown serial number valued at approximately $500 each. ■ Two Stihl handsaws, valued at approximately $200 each.
