Charlotte’s Web, Edgar Allan Poe, The Nutcracker coming to Granbury | Brian Clowdus Experiences returns in May with new shows, season passes

Posted

Brian Clowdus, the mastermind behind both Sleepy Hollow and Christmas Carol Experiences, will soon be returning to Granbury for his most epic season yet.

From May to December, Brian Clowdus Experiences will be offering three brand new shows in Hood County: “The Charlotte’s Web Experience,” “The Edgar Allan Poe Experience,” and “The Nutcracker Experience,” — all in three different locations.

“Granbury is so incredibly near and dear to my heart,” Clowdus said, in the Visit Granbury news release. “It has become my favorite home away from home. I am in love with the town’s history, architecture and incredible residents. After two incredible years of ‘The Sleepy Hollow Experience’ and ‘The Christmas Carol Experience,’ we are changing things up this year with three new epic experiences and in three locations.”

In “The Charlotte’s Web Experience,” guests will follow Fern and Wilbur as they meet a very talented spider. Showings will be held from May 6-28 at 620 E. Bridge St. on Saturdays at 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Attendees will lose their mind with Poe in “The Edgar Allan Poe Experience,” as he enters his final days in an insane asylum where nurses transform into ravens. Showings will be held from Sept. 28 through Oct. 31 at 308 E. Pearl St. on Thursdays and Sundays at 7 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Finally, guests can escape into a winter wonderland with Clara as she steps into a world where nutcrackers and sugar plum fairies come to life in “The Nutcracker Experience.” Showings will be held from Nov. 30 through Dec. 30 at 201 E. Pearl St. on Thursdays and Fridays at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m., 6 p.m., and 8 p.m.

“Granbury fell in love with Brian Clowdus and his incredible team as they brought entertainment like we had never seen before with ‘The Sleepy Hollow Experience’ and ‘The Christmas Carol Experience,’” Visit Granbury Director Tammy Dooley stated in the news release. “We expected these shows to be successful, but we didn’t realize how quickly they would sell out and how buzz would carry all over Granbury, Dallas, Fort Worth, and beyond.

“We saw audience members from all over the country and we are over the moon to make this season a third-year Granbury staple. Brian and his team create the most incredible experiences, highlighting the history and architecture of Granbury and now with three new shows. We look forward to welcoming back the community and visitors ready to be entertained with these new experiences.”

Clowdus is also offering attendees a seasonal pass option, where they can save 35% when they purchase one.

Tickets for the VIP season pass are $175, and tickets for the general admission season pass are $125. Both include rain insurance.

Individual tickets for "The Charlotte's Web Experience," are $59 for VIP, with general admission prices ranging from $19 to $49 depending on day and availability. Individual tickets for "The Edgar Allan Poe Experience" and "The Nutcracker Experience," are currently not available for purchase.

“Our experiences have world-class national talent and are wonderful for the whole family,” Clowdus added, in the news release. “Audience members can have dinner on the square, shop the incredible boutiques, see unique and immersive entertainment, and stay overnight as well. This year is a celebration of all things Granbury: community, love, friendship, laughter, and even a few things haunted. We can’t wait to see you all this year.”
