Cinergy contest to celebrate teachers

Students and parents are invited by Cinergy Entertainment Group to create a short video to nominate a special schoolteacher as a Cinergy Hero in honor of the upcoming national Teacher Appreciation Week.

“Cinergy asks students, classes and parents to submit a short video highlighting their teacher’s superpower,” a Cinergy news release states.

Nominations will be accepted through Friday, April 30, 2021 online at www.cinergy.com/heroes

Cinergy will announce three finalists from each Cinergy movie theater market and category and Cinergy fans will then be able to vote for their favorite finalist from May 3-7, which if Teacher Appreciation Week. 

Cinergy will announce the winners the week of May 10. The winner from each Cinergy market will be given a season pass for movies, plus a $200 Target gift card. The winning classes will also receive Cinergy game cards and a special movie offer.
