A 32-year-old Hood County man is facing three felony charges including kidnapping and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with what Sheriff’s Office authorities described as an “all-day” argument that resulted in a female victim being treated for injuries at a local hospital.

Solomon David Anderson was arrested by deputies who responded to the 8000 block of River Run on May 20 to meet with a 32-year-old female family violence victim, according to Lt. Johnny Rose.

Rose stated that “Anderson allegedly rammed his girlfriend’s vehicle during an all-day argument and tied her up, conducting a series of beatings throughout the day at the 6000 block of Timberhaven (Court).

“The victim was able to get away from Anderson when a visitor came by to check on them and gave the victim a ride to safety. The victim was treated at (Lake Granbury Medical Center) and has been released, listed in fair condition.”

Anderson is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (second-degree felony, bond $20,000); kidnapping (third-degree felony, bond $20,000); and assault family violence with previous conviction (third-degree felony, bond $20,000).
