U.S. Rep. Roger Williams, who represents the 25th Texas district in the U.S. House and is Hood County’s new congressman due to redistricting, is planning to come to Granbury next week to meet with constituents.

Those who want to meet the Republican congressman can do so at noon Tuesday (Nov 9). He will be in the second floor courtroom at the courthouse on the square, located at 100 E. Pearl St.

Rogers, a TCU graduate, is the university's former baseball coach. He was appointed Secretary of State under former Gov. Rick Perry, and was first elected to Congress in 2012.

Texas' 25th congressional district runs from Tarrant County to Hays County and includes Austin and much of the Hill Country.
