Early voting, polling sites set for July runoffs

Gov. Greg Abbott has extended early voting hours for the Tuesday, July 14 primary runoff election.

Early voting days and times will be as follows:

■ Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2 – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

■ Monday, July 6 through Wednesday, July 8 – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

■ Thursday, July 9 and Friday, July 10 – 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All early voting will take place at Annex 1, 1410 W. Pearl St.

According to Elections Administrator Crickett Miller, eight of the county’s 10 Vote Centers will be open on Election Day. Voters can cast ballots at the location of their choice. The Vote Centers that will be open are:

■ Acton United Methodist Church-Youth Building, 3433 Fall Creek Hwy.

■ Hood County Annex 1, 1410 W. Pearl St.

■ Lakeside Baptist Church, 500 W. Bluebonnet Dr.

■ Pecan Activity Center, 9145 Plantation Dr.

■ First Baptist Church, 1851 Weatherford Hwy.

■ Tolar Community Center, 120 Tolar Cemetery Road.

■ Lipan Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, 119 N. Caddo St.

■ St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 2301 Acton Hwy.

Sample ballots for the Democratic and Republican primary runoffs can be viewed on the “Elections and Voter Registration” page on the county’s website, www.co.hood.tx.us.
