Twenty-six students of Granbury Theatre Academy recently attended the Junior Theater Festival, billed as the world's biggest and most renowned celebration of young people performing in musical theater. There was tough competition at the Atlanta event, but several GTA teens were awarded honors.

Matt Richeson had no teaching experience when he applied to instruct a class on small engine technology at Granbury High School. Instead of a teaching resume, he submitted a photo of himself working on the engine of a race car at one of the many racing events he has attended with his son, a sophomore at GHS and a racing champion.
