Fast-food employee suffers minor injuries in drive-through

Posted

A female employee of Taco Casa suffered only minor injuries despite being briefly pinned between two vehicles in the drive-through lane on Sunday, Nov. 28, according to Granbury Police Department Deputy Chief Cliff Andrews.

The employee told police she was taking orders in the drive-through lane, and “instructed a driver of a vehicle to back up,” Andrews stated in an email.

“The employee was guiding the vehicle backwards and placed herself between the backing vehicle and another vehicle in the line,” Andrews continued. “Somehow, she was briefly pinned between the two vehicles. The employee suffered minor injuries. The employee went to LGMC hours later to be seen.”

Andrews noted that no criminal charges were filed in connection with the incident.
