Forward training sets special fundraiser at Brazos Drive-in

Forward Training Center of Hood County, a nonprofit organization that provides free educational and career resources to adults in Hood County, is planning a fun and unique fundraising event with a 1950s theme.

The event, dubbed “It’s a Wonderful Life,” is Thursday, Nov. 19 at the Brazos Drive-in. It starts at 6 p.m.

In place of its annual formal dinner and fundraiser, Forward Training Center is presenting a drive-in experience with the nostalgic movie classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

In addition to the movie, there will be a live auction, photo ops, an appearance of one of the Granbury Living Christmas Cards and a tailgate dinner provided by carhops who will bring a Chick-fil-A meal to your vehicle.

COVID-19 safety precautions, including social distancing, will be observed. Upon entry, guests will be offered complimentary hand sanitizer and face masks.
