Camp El Tesoro is offering free days of family fun from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 28; Sunday, April 18 and Sunday, May 16. At those times, families are invited to enjoy free outdoor fun during a Summer Camp Preview. They can see what it’s like to attend camp, participate in select activities and meet the directors. Activities will include hayride tours, making s’mores, hiking nature trails by the Brazos River, archery and touring cabin accommodations*. The events are free, but space is limited. Summer include:

■ Overnight Camp, June 6 – July 23 (Ages 6 – 16), $545 - $780 per session ($1,435 for 13-day session). A traditional overnight camp experience for boys and girls filled with outdoor adventures, swimming, canoeing, archery, horseback and more. El Tesoro provides a range of overnight camp options from a four-day session, perfect for a younger camper, to a 13-day session.

■ Nature Day Camp, June 7 – July 30 (Campers entering grades K-5), $215 per week. Camp El Tesoro Nature Day Camp is eight weeks of interactive, outdoor adventures that encourage children to flex their minds and muscles. Unique weekly focus areas allow campers to discover our world from the natural (trees, bugs, bones and rocks) to the terrestrial (solar system) and ecological (recycling, going green). Art, science and exploration will fill mornings while afternoons are a mix of swimming and adventure with archery, horseback riding, canoeing and more.

■ Equestrian Overnight Camp, July 18 – 23 ($780 per week), Campers entering grades 3-8. Daily activities focus on beginner and intermediate level horsemanship skills. Learn to bridle, saddle and care for horses while improving your riding skills.
