Granbury High School junior Emily Dolan qualified for regional cross country competition at the District 5- 5A meet Thursday at Central Park in White Settlement.
Dolan placed sixth with a time of 22:22.18 and led the GHS girls to a third-place team finish. Others were Ashlyn Bednarz, Ava Garner, Kylee Hallmark, Emery Kirby, Aubrey Kirby and Ezra Sedgwick.
The boys finished sixth, with senior Ethan Wilkinson leading the squad with a time of 20:11.07. Others were Bodie Chastain, Jayce Glenn, Peyton Haws, Ashton Lemens and Alec Wilkinson.
For the junior varsity, the girls took first place while the boys were third. Those team members are:
Junior Varsity Girls: Wendy Aguado, Laura Burch, Morgan Heche, Victorya Hernandez, Vanity Lopez, Brisa Lozado, Tania Magallanes, Carlie Osborne, Naiya Stone, Crystal Torres and Caroline Wallace.
Junior Varsity Boys: Michael Aranda, Conner Boegler, Ethan Carter, Casen Ensminger, Rylan Fleming, Brendan Gray, Dylan Hallmark, Trent Huggins, Makye Lazaro, James Linzy, Emory Osborne, Collin Valentine and Zayden Yates
The Region I-5A meet will be Monday, Nov. 9 at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.
