Home burglary is Crime of the Week

Hood County Crime Stoppers and the Hood County Sheriff’s Office are seeking help in solving a burglary of a habitation in which jewelry and other items were stolen.

On May 24 an unknown person or persons broke into a residence in the 4000 block of Peak Road and took items not belonging to them.

The items taken include:

­‑ One wedding ring, unknown description, valued at approximately $7,000.

-Ten pairs of diamond earrings, unknown description, valued at approximately $2,500 total.

-Two diamond rings, unknown description, valued at approximately $1,000.

-Two necklaces, unknown description, valued at approximately $300.

-18 volt Snap-On cordless ½ drill, unknown serial number, unknown make, valued at approximately $899.

-HP laptop, unknown serial number, valued at approximately $300.
