Hot tribute bands in summer lineup
Tribute bands concerts have been a way for the Granbury Theatre Company to make extra money between shows, and that’s because the bands are so popular with audiences.
This summer, those bands are coming back.
Two of the bands will perform out-of-the-ordinary weeknight concerts.
First up will be Fortunate Son, a band whose sound is virtually identical to Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Shows will be at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, June 18-20.
Tickets are $35 and $40.
Next will be Infinite Journey, featuring the music of Journey. Those concerts as well will be on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night at 7:30, with the same ticket prices.
The third and final tribute band will be Liverpool Legends, an homage to The Beatles.
That band will perform during the GTC’s typical weekend time slots.
Concert dates will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 30-Sept. 1.
Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets range from $35-$50.
