Know before you go

Posted

Kids love a trip to the park. And parents do too. It’s different than watching the kids play at home. Kids get excited at the park. Sometimes real excited. During a recent visit to the firefighters playground at the Jim Burks Firefighters Memorial Park, a mom asked if I knew of a bathroom nearby. I did not. I could only think of the public restrooms behind Granbury Opera House. Maybe City Hall? After an internet search at www.granbury.org, I came across the following information on the city park properties. Some have rest rooms, others do not. City Public Information Officer Bethany Warner helped me with nearby restrooms for several locations. Might be handy information the next time you take the kids out to romp at the park. And by the way, the restrooms at City Hall are open to the public during business hours – that’s 8 to 5, Monday through Friday.
