Lifesavers

A goodwill gesture by volunteers could save a life.

The Granbury school district partnered with the American Red Cross to install free smoke alarms in Oak Trail Shores homes.

Thirty-nine volunteers including GISD staff, Granbury High School students, community members and the Red Cross worked together to install 233 smoke alarms in 75 homes.

The two organizations plan for another installation day in the spring.

If you would like to volunteer, contact Emma Roberson Elementary School bilingual prekindergarten teacher Teri Call at teri.call@granburyisd.org.
