Man charged with felony family violence

James Lloyd Griffin Jr., 34, who is listed as having a Fort Worth address, was arrested Thursday afternoon by Hood County Sheriff's Office deputies on a third-degree felony count of family violence assault/choking, according to Lt. Johnny Rose. Rose stated that deputies discovered that Griffin allegedly choked his girlfriend, who was not seriously injured. Griffin's bond was set at $10,000.
