Marion Ruth Robertson, 86, passed away on Sunday April 5th 2020. Graveside service will be held at 2pm Wednesday April 8th 2020 at Rough Creek Cemetery. Due to the Coronavirus crisis there will not be a public visitation or public graveside service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.
Marion was born on October 28th, 1933 in Channelview, Texas to Walter H. Short Sr. and Vashti Retherford. She was married to Tommy Robertson in 1952. Marion and her husband Tommy were lifelong residents of Granbury, Texas.
Marion was a Lifelong member of The United Methodist Church in Granbury. She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, and mother. She was known as "Nanny" to her many grandkids and greatgrandkids whom she adored. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Tommy Robertson Sr., Brother Walter Short Jr., and Sister Nellie Parker.
Marion is survived by her children Danny Robertson and wife Janice, Naomi Carkin and husband Tim, Joni Rhodes and husband Reagan, and Tommy Robertson Jr. and wife Annabeth, 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
