A husband and wife from Stephenville were arrested on a felony methamphetamine possession charge Friday morning when Hood County Sheriff’s Office deputies made a traffic stop, according to Lt. Johnny Rose.

“During the stop Terry James Herrick (age 31) and his wife, Melody Ann Herrick (39) were found to be in joint possession of over 4 grams of meth,” Rose said. “Both were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.”

The charge is a third-degree felony, and bond was set at $10,000 each, Rose noted. The traffic stop was made at the intersection of Pearl Street and Deputy Larry Miller Drive at about 9:30 a.m. on July 16.
