Preston Howey of Midland has joined Congressman Pfluger's legislative team.
U.S. Rep. August Pfluger, R-San Angelo, has added Midland native Preston Howey to his legislative team.
“Preston will advise on some of the most important issues facing our region, including agriculture, immigration, resources and water, taxes and more,” Pfluger stated in a news release. “His years of legislative experience in the Texas delegation and personal connection to the district will be invaluable as we work to advocate on behalf of the good people in the 11th district of Texas.”
Howey graduated from Midland High School and Texas A&M University, where he earned a degree in political science.
Before joining Pfluger’s team, he interned for Congressman Will Hurd of Texas District 23. He subsequently served as a legislative assistant for Congressman Kevin Brady of Texas District 8, the top Republican on the House Ways & Means Committee.
