A 37-year-old Granbury man is charged with possession of more than 10 grams of methamphetamine, a first-degree felony, in connection with his arrest on Thursday by members of the Hood County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit conducting a drug investigation, according to Lt. Johnny Rose.

Daniel Ray Partida was taken into custody at about 2:30 p.m. and booked into the Hood County Jail on one count of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $50,000.

“The charge stems from Partida being in possession of over 10 grams of meth during a traffic stop at the 3800 block of East Highway 377 in Granbury,” Rose stated in an email.
