Posted

Two Hood County residents were arrested by Hood County Sheriff’s Office deputies just after midnight on May 18, each accused of felony possession of methamphetamine, Lt. Johnny Rose stated in an email.

The arrests were made during a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Morgan Street in Granbury, Rose noted, and they were booked into the Hood County Jail.

“During the stop, Gary Lee Vickers and Sheryl Ann Cullen were both found to be in possession of under a gram of meth and placed under arrest,” Rose stated. “During the booking process, Vickers was found to be in possession of over 7 grams of meth.”

The residence for Vickers, 64, is listed in Lipan, while the residence for Cullen, 62, was listed as Tolar, according to Rose.

Vickers was charged with a pair of third-degree felony charges — possession of a controlled substance, with bond set at $10,000, and prohibited substance in a correctional facility ($20,000 bond), Rose noted.

The charge against Cullen is a state jail felony count of possession of a controlled substance, with bond set at $5,000.
