Posted

TOLAR - The Tolar Rattlers will play bi-district football Thursday night, Nov. 12, in Alvarado against Italy or Dawson.

Kickoff is 7 p.m.

Italy plays Marlin Friday night for the district title.

“If Italy wins we play Dawson,” Tolar Head Football Coach Jeremy Mullins said. “If Marlin wins we play Italy.”

Tolar was scheduled to play Itasca Friday in the last district game of the season, but the Wampus Cats canceled the rest of the season because of injuries and a lack of players.

Mullins said his young squad is improving with every game.

“I’m excited to see what these guys do in the playoffs,” Mullins said.

Tolar secured third place in district with Rio Vista beating Hamilton.
