Granbury Bass Club April tourney

Donnie Meyer is pictured with a 5-pound, 5-ounce bass he caught in the Granbury Bass Club’s April tournament held recently at Eagle Mountain Lake near Azle, earning the Big Bass Award. The top three places in the tournament were: 1. Tim Krentz, five fish totaling 15 pounds, 4 ounces; 2. Donnie Meyer, five weighing 15-1; and 3. Bill Roberts, four totaling 12-1. Tim Krentz and Jeff Weatherly took the Team Pot with a total of 22 pounds, 2 ounces. The next Granbury Bass Club meeting is set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, at Spring Creek Barbecue in Granbury.
