Pirates' full area baseball playoff series details announced

Full details for the Granbury High School baseball team's area playoff series vs. Mansfield Timberview are now set. Coach Brad Eppler's 23-7 Pirates, (fourth-place out of District 5-5A), play at Timberview High School (19-10-1, third place out of District 8) tonight (Thursday, May 13) at 7 in Game 1. Friday's Game 2 (May 14) will be at 7 p.m., at Granbury High School's Tidwell Field. If a third game is needed, it's scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, at Cleburne High School. The best-of-three series winner will advance to the third round of the playoffs against either Aledo, the champion of Granbury's District 5 alignment, or District 8 runner-up Burleson High School.
