After five months of dedicated quarantine, doing our part by working from home, grocery delivery, mask wearing and virtual learning for our three kids, we decided to take a break from cooking and cleaning after three meals a day and have a family dinner in Granbury.

Firefighters rushed to reported explosion Tuesday evening west of Cresson. Lightning apparently sparked the fire from oil storage tanks off Highway 377, according to Fire Marshal Jeff Young. No injuries were reported. The explosion blew one of the tanks about 100 yards away, Young said.ROGER ENLOW

The City of Granbury Health Department is responsible for the permitting and inspection of more than 200 food establishments within the city limits of Granbury. These establishments include retail restaurants, school cafeterias, grocery and convenience stores, bakeries, day care centers, bed and breakfasts and retirement/nursing homes.
