Saturday, April 27, 2019

“Love life! Love the blue sky, the stars at night, and all beautiful things. Love yourself, love your Maker, and you will be very, very happy.” Add in a love for golf, fishing, family, sunsets, and being kind to everyone you meet, and this quote from Rhinoceros Success is exactly how Aaron will always be remembered. Friends and family describe him as a strong, positive, sweet, family-man, who was a larger-than-life force.

Aaron Don Collier entered heaven’s gates on April 23, 2019. He was 47 years old. Born January 6, 1972, Aaron was always known for his sense of adventure and entrepreneurial spirit. A graduate of Everman High School, he went on to lead several successful businesses, including First Texas General Construction, where he worked at the time of his death.

Aaron is preceded in death by his father, Donnie Collier. He is survived by his son, Dillon Collier of Joshua; mother, Patty McKnight of Gran-bury; dad, Larry McKnight of Fort Worth; love of his life and mother to his son, Kelly Burgess of Joshua; brother, Michael Collier and wife, Jeweline of Burleson; brother, Zach McKnight of Granbury; and nephews, Tyler and Mason McKnight; as well as many other family members and countless friends who love and will miss him terribly.

Memorial service to be held Tuesday, April 30, at 2:00 p.m., at Wiley Funeral Home, located at 400 E. U.S. Hwy 377, Granbury, Texas 76048.
