Bessie "Jan" Huff Mahan, 83, of Granbury passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 7, 2020, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury, Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park, Visitation: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2020, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury. Pallbearers: Henry Becker, Hardy Gibbons, Justin Guin, Darrin Good, and Corben Watson.
Bessie was born on June 19, 1936 in Crockett, Texas to Leslie and Eunice Huff. She was awarded a degree of associates in applied science accounting and was on the Dean's honor list on May 18, 1977.
Bessie loved traveling, gardening, quilting, crocheting, and dancing of any kind especially square dancing. She was preceded in death by her father: Leslie Huff, mother: Eunice Taylor Huff, two sons: Cregg Watson and Dennis Ray Watson and sister: Gracie Cook.
Survivors: Bessie is survived by her husband: Wayne Mahan of Granbury, Texas, one son and two daughters; Rex Watson and wife Inez of Granbury, TX, Terry Gibbons and husband Hardy of Wilton, Arkansas, and Janice Becker and husband Henry of Granbury, TX, two sisters; Doris McCauley of Granbury, TX and Martha Huff of Gilmer, TX, six grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, and numerous amounts of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
