Charles ‘Wesley’ Jackson

Charles “Wesley” Jackson, Jr. was born on November 10,1929 in Plainview, Texas and died on April 23, 2019 at his home in Lipan, Texas.

Wesley has been a member of First Baptist Church of Lipan since his baptism in 1950.

He served for three years in the US Air Force and retired from Leonard Enterprises in 1991.

Wesley was preceded in death by his father C.W. Jackson, his mother Bessie Wilson Jackson, and his brother Derrell Jackson.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joanne Howell Jackson, daughter Carol Jackson Bleeker and husband Tommy Bleeker of Santo, and son Joe Wesley “Jody” Jackson and wife Christina Jackson of Lipan. He was a proud grandfather of T.J. Bleeker and wife Randi, Vickie Posey, Wes Jackson and wife Melanie, Lana Eisenwine and husband Michael, and Andrea Kennedy and husband Matt. Wesley also bragged of ten great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Colt, Bailey and Reid Bleeker; Jacie and Jackson Posey; Rylea, Kenneth, and Adam Jackson; and Lilly and Annie Eisenwine.

He was loved!

Service: 10:00 AM, Friday, April 26, 2019, First Baptist Church, Lipan, Interment: Evergreen Cemetery, Visitation: 6:00 PM -8:00 PM, Thursday, April 25, 2019, Wiley Chapel, Lipan.
