Granbury - Clinton Brooks Spotts, 86, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020.

Clinton was born May 18, 1933 in Crowell, TX to James W. and Katie L. Hunter Spotts.

He honorably served in the Navy during the Korean War. In 1956, he married Rita Ann Teichmann, his wife of more than 63 years. In 1958, he graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Agriculture Education. He worked for several federal agencies during his career before retiring in 1986 from the Environmental Protection Agency in Dallas. Clinton was known for his uncanny sense of humor. He was a kind, reliable man of responsibility, and a firm believer in knowledge. His family is grateful for the wonderful years together that included coaching little league sports, camping, traveling, and so many family gatherings. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and sons, John K. Spotts, and Joseph P. Spotts.

Survivors: Wife, Rita, daughters and sons-in-law, Monica and Kenneth Dean, Cynthia and Roger Turner, Nancy and Stefan Olpinski, son Philip Spotts, and son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Julie Spotts, in addition to 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
