Connie Sue Jacobs (Johnson / Hoy)

Connie, loving and caring wife, mother, sister and grandmother, was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1948 and moved to Buena Park, California in 1961. She graduated from Kennedy H.S. in 1967. Despite a prolonged illness of heart problems, Connie was the epitome of a hard and dedicated worker all her life. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by the following:

Mother, Glenna Hoy in 1957

Father, Lawrence Hoy in 1972

Brother, Billy Hoy in 2004

She is survived by the following:

Husband, Bob Jacobs living in Granbury, TX and his two sons Jimmy and John

Sister, Barbara living in Mission Viejo, CA with her husband, Jerry

Sister, Shirley Hoy living in New Lebanon, Ohio

Brother, Larry Hoy living in New Lebanon, Ohio with his wife Gleneeda

Son, Bobby Johnson living in Santa Ana, CA and daughter Emerie

Son, Darryl Johnson living in Moreno Valley, CA and sons Jacob and Mathew

Daughter, Alicia Gonzalez living in Granbury, TX with her husband, Nick and her two children, Makenna and Zackary (and one more on the way due in May, 2020)

There are many other, nieces, nephews, and cousins that will miss their fun loving playmate, Connie Sue, as well as many friends including those at her last job at Braums Grocery in Granbury, TX. What she enjoyed most was interacting with all the customers who lifted her spirits daily.

Connie will be cremated with a memorial gathering to be held in Granbury, TX on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wiley Funeral Home.

Family Celebration of Life to be held in Upland, CA on Dec. 28, 2019 at Michelle Hoy's home.

Ashes to be spread at family cemetery in New Lebanon, OH in early 2020

Connie is with the Lord where we all want to be after living God's will on earth. She is at rest with a new and strong heart serving the Lord just as she served everyone here.

With everlasting love and devotion, she is at peace.
